📋 Description
- • Senior Software Engineer in Secure Client Engineering at College Board, responsible for protecting the integrity of Bluebook, the digital assessment application used by students across Windows, macOS, iPad, and ChromeOS.
- • Design and implement low-level security solutions using native platform capabilities, collaborating daily via mob programming to solve complex technical problems in desktop and mobile environments.
- • Part of a small, collaborative, poly-skilled team within Product Security that values craftsmanship, continuous learning, and high-trust engineering practices through ensemble programming and shared ownership.
- • Opportunity to deepen expertise in secure software development, contribute to mission-driven educational technology, and grow as a leader in AI-augmented, post-agile software engineering practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of production-level software development experience managing the full feature lifecycle.
- • Proficiency in multiple languages and frameworks including JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, C++, and Swift, with hands-on experience in native platform development.
- • Experience with low-level operating system APIs, debugging, assembly review, and building software that interfaces closely with the OS.
- • Ability to travel 3-5 times per year to NYC or Reston, VA offices and authorization to work in the United States.
