• • As a Senior Software Engineer at UiPath, you will be at the forefront of developing and enhancing our cutting-edge Integration Service, a critical component of our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of enterprise automation by building world-class UI and API automation capabilities that seamlessly connect diverse applications and systems.
• • Your mission will involve conceptualizing, designing, and implementing new classes of connectors, meticulously maintaining existing ones, and contributing to the architecture of next-generation integration products. You will be instrumental in creating unified, rich REST APIs that power our platform, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, security, scalability, and performance.
• • You will take end-to-end ownership of key components and subsystems, from initial design and implementation through to testing, integration, deployment, and ongoing enhancements. This includes writing high-quality, maintainable code and taking full responsibility for the technical deliverables within your scope.
• • Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with product managers and fellow engineers to translate product vision into tangible features, ensuring that our software not only meets but exceeds customer expectations and business requirements.
• • The Integration Service team leverages a diverse technology stack, including C#, GoLang, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and Azure. Your expertise will be applied across this spectrum, contributing to a robust and scalable platform.
• • A significant aspect of your role will be to act as a technical leader and mentor within the team. You will be expected to embody a strong sense of code quality, enforce best practices, and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• • You will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and high-performance REST APIs. This involves understanding and applying modern API design principles and patterns to create services that are both powerful and easy to consume.
• • Engaging in rigorous code design, comprehensive testing strategies (including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing), and efficient deployment processes will be part of your daily routine. You will ensure that all code is well-documented, thoroughly tested, and adheres to established engineering standards.
• • Debugging and performance optimization will be crucial. You will identify and resolve complex technical challenges, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure the optimal functioning of our integration services.
