📋 Description

• • Own the architecture and evolution of the company’s global platform backbone, ensuring it can scale to millions of concurrent connected devices and users across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
• • Design, build, and continuously improve fault-tolerant backend services that power e-commerce, user accounts, subscriptions, content delivery, and real-time analytics—turning raw data into actionable insights that drive product decisions.
• • Craft clean, versioned REST and GraphQL APIs in .NET (C#) and Node.js, while integrating Python micro-services for specialized data-science and machine-learning workloads.
• • Implement rock-solid authentication and authorization flows (OAuth 2.0, device-pairing, refresh-token rotation) that keep user data safe and the experience friction-free across mobile, web, and embedded hardware.
• • Orchestrate containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS/GCP, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm) to achieve one-click deployments, blue-green releases, and automatic rollback on failure.
• • Architect event-driven, distributed systems using Kafka, SQS, or Pub/Sub to guarantee exactly-once message delivery, idempotency, and ACID compliance at scale.
• • Instrument everything—metrics, traces, logs—so that anomalies are detected and resolved before customers notice, achieving 99.9 % uptime and sub-second P99 latency.
• • Collaborate daily with product managers, game designers, hardware engineers, and an external development team spanning four time zones to translate ambitious product road-maps into shippable increments every two weeks.
• • Act as a technical mentor: conduct code reviews, pair program, and champion engineering best practices (clean architecture, TDD, SOLID, DDD) to raise the bar for the entire 20-person engineering org.
• • Lead incident-response war rooms, perform blameless post-mortems, and turn every outage into a learning opportunity that hardens the platform for the future.
• • Evaluate emerging technologies—Firebase, Supabase, edge-computing, WebAssembly—and run proof-of-concepts that keep the company two steps ahead of competitors.
• • Partner with InfoSec to embed security, privacy, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, COPPA) into the SDLC from day one, not as an afterthought.
• • Translate complex technical trade-offs into crisp narratives for executives, ensuring engineering strategy aligns with business goals and investor expectations.
• • Contribute to open-source projects and speak at meetups or conferences, amplifying the company’s reputation as a thought leader in interactive entertainment technology.
