As a category-defining pioneer, we are committed to transforming how life-changing therapies are delivered and financed. Our innovative approach ensures patients receive the treatments they need while providing employers with a fair and transparent system. Specialty drugs and infusions constitute a significant portion of healthcare expenditures, and Leap is dedicated to mitigating these costs through a novel strategy that eliminates hidden markups, broadens access to high-quality infusion providers, and injects clarity and fairness into therapy pricing and payment.
  • • We are proud to collaborate with numerous Fortune 500 companies and leading Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), delivering immediate ROI for every patient served through lower costs, improved access, and enhanced care. Join our dynamic team as we redefine the possibilities within specialty care and create a more equitable healthcare landscape.
  • • **About the Role:** The Senior Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in constructing the advanced AI and automation systems that underpin Leap’s clinical and business operations. This position offers the unique opportunity to own substantial areas across product development, data management, infrastructure, and automation, directly contributing to the scalability of the company’s operational platform as the business experiences rapid growth. You will collaborate closely with our Clinical Operations, Business Operations, and company leadership teams to pinpoint high-value automation opportunities and implement systems that significantly enhance care delivery and internal operational efficiency. At Leap, engineers are empowered to have a genuine impact on product direction, not merely execution.
  • • **Key Responsibilities:**
  • • **AI and Automation Leadership:** Spearhead the development and deployment of sophisticated LLM agents and automation pipelines designed to replace and optimize manual operational workflows. Design, build, and launch cutting-edge AI-driven care orchestration systems that seamlessly coordinate complex treatment journeys involving patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and internal Leap teams. Proactively identify and prioritize high-value automation opportunities through direct engagement and close collaboration with clinical and business operations teams, ensuring our technology directly addresses their most pressing needs.
  • • **Product Development Ownership:** Take full ownership of both internal-facing tools and external products utilized by our clinical teams, growth specialists, strategic partners, and valued customers. Engage directly with users, including internal stakeholders, to deeply understand their workflows and challenges. Implement robust instrumentation for all shipped features and leverage the resulting data insights to inform and drive future product development decisions, ensuring a user-centric and data-driven approach.
  • • **Platform and Infrastructure Enhancement:** Develop, maintain, and enhance critical shared services, robust identity and authentication mechanisms, and a secure, HIPAA-compliant data architecture. Successfully ship and manage integrations with key CRM systems and external healthcare platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability. Design and implement PHI-safe LLM pipelines, advanced agent orchestration frameworks, comprehensive evaluation systems, and crucial MCP integrations, adhering to the highest standards of data privacy and security.
  • • **Impact and Collaboration:** This role is designed for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to make a tangible impact. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our technology stack and operational efficiency. Your contributions will directly influence how we deliver care, manage costs, and improve patient outcomes. You will work alongside a dedicated team passionate about solving complex problems in healthcare technology. The ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and to communicate effectively across different departments will be key to your success. You will be empowered to innovate and drive technical strategy within your areas of ownership, contributing to Leap's mission of creating a more accessible and affordable healthcare system.
