• • As a Senior Software Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and challenging, focusing on the intricate details of high-performance, low-latency distributed systems. You will be instrumental in designing and developing systems capable of processing billions of bid requests daily, ensuring that optimized bidding decisions are delivered within extremely stringent latency constraints, often measured in milliseconds. This involves building and optimizing real-time bidding (RTB) services, where you will meticulously evaluate targeting rules, campaign budgets, and sophisticated bidding strategies in real time to maximize campaign performance. You will architect robust microservices and event-driven systems that form the backbone of billions of daily ad transactions, ensuring scalability and reliability. A key aspect of your role will be building sophisticated systems to support server-side auctions and advanced bid optimization strategies, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in ad serving. Furthermore, you will be responsible for integrating with external Supply Side Platforms (SSPs), exchanges, and ad servers, adhering to industry standards like OpenRTB and VAST, and developing robust APIs and connectors essential for seamless partner integrations and efficient supply onboarding. Troubleshooting and optimizing the performance of these integrations with external ad tech platforms will be a continuous effort, ensuring smooth operation and maximum efficiency. You will be tasked with optimizing systems for extreme throughput, minimal latency, and maximum reliability, employing techniques such as efficient caching layers and in-memory data stores using technologies like Redis and MongoDB. Monitoring and proactively improving system performance through comprehensive observability, rigorous load testing, and strategic capacity planning will be crucial. You will also collaborate closely with product managers, ad operations specialists, and partner engineering teams to conceptualize and deliver new platform capabilities, ensuring that our technology meets the evolving needs of the market.
