- • Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex features and projects within an AI-native engineering workflow powering the Hyperlift Stars Platform, driving innovation in data-intensive software systems.
- • Design scalable database schemas (PostgreSQL), backend microservices, and APIs; set technical direction and architectural guidance for AI tool integration to improve reliability, efficiency, and user value.
- • Implement backend services in Python, Elixir, or Golang; lead development efforts, conduct code reviews, and mentor peers to ensure high code quality and maintainability.
- • Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems, contribute to deployment documentation, and guide the team through Agile processes while managing shifting priorities.
- • Work within Press Ganey, a leader in experience measurement and data analytics, serving global clients across industries to improve human experiences through technology, data, and expertise.
- • Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and teamwork.
- • Grow as a technical leader by shaping system architecture, influencing AI adoption practices, and contributing to process improvement initiatives in a high-performing, values-driven organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- • Expertise in Python; experience in Elixir or Golang a plus
- • Strong working knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- • Experience building and optimizing REST APIs and working with event-driven architecture
- • Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
- • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps practices (GitLab pipelines, CI/CD)
