- • As a Senior Software Engineer at Vision Service Plan (VSP), you will be at the forefront of designing, constructing, developing, testing, implementing, and delivering technology solutions that address critical business needs across the organization.
- • You will take ownership of the technical aspects throughout the entire agile development lifecycle, particularly for large and complex projects, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- • This role involves a significant degree of technical leadership, where you will be responsible for guiding the technical direction and ensuring the successful execution of software development initiatives.
- • You will play a pivotal role in solving intricate business problems by designing innovative solutions, with a keen eye on both operational efficiency and functional requirements, demonstrating a deep understanding of the business domain and its interconnected functions.
- • A key responsibility will be to define the scope of solutions to deliver tangible business value early and often, ensuring that project objectives are clearly communicated and understood by all team members.

- • For those with preferred skills, you will have exceptional hands-on coding abilities in C#, the .Net stack, and REST APIs, applying this expertise to build high-quality software.
- • You will have demonstrated prior experience in the end-to-end ownership of building brand new enterprise-grade software applications, from initial concept through to production delivery, showcasing a full product lifecycle understanding.
- • Extensive experience and comfort in managing production environments, including deployments, maintenance, incident resolution, and ensuring full ownership of production stability, will be crucial.
- • You will prove your ability to act as the go-to technical resource and a key liaison between stakeholders, product managers, and design teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
- • Strong expertise in hands-on REST API development using .Net Core, C#, Entity Framework, and Visual Studio code analysis will be essential for developing robust and efficient APIs.
- • Expertise in Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, App Services, Application Insights, Azure API Management, and Service Bus, along with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, will be critical for cloud-native development and deployment.
- • Deep expertise in MS SQL Server, including writing complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and optimizing Indexes, will be necessary for data management and retrieval.
- • Proficiency in writing comprehensive unit and acceptance tests, and actively participating in code reviews, will ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-tested code.
