Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Architect and own the end-to-end analytics stack that turns billions of clinical data points into life-saving insights. You will design cloud-native pipelines that surface real-time KPIs for sepsis-alert accuracy, early-warning sensitivity, and mortality-reduction impact across 100+ hospital systems.
- • Build self-service investigation frameworks that allow physicians and clinical reviewers to drill from a single patient chart into cohort-level trends in minutes, not days. Your tooling will power root-cause analyses that directly inform model retraining priorities and regulatory submissions.
- • Establish scalable data contracts and semantic layers that unify EHR feeds, HL7/FHIR streams, and ML inference logs. You will champion dbt-style transformation best practices so that every analyst, data scientist, and product manager speaks the same metrics language.
- • Automate anomaly detection and quality gates that catch data drift, concept drift, and silent failures before they reach bedside clinicians. Your monitors will trigger alerts in Slack, PagerDuty, and Tableau, ensuring trust in AI recommendations that influence critical-care decisions.
- • Create HIPAA-compliant sandbox environments where external researchers and client data scientists can safely explore de-identified datasets. You will balance openness with bullet-proof privacy controls, accelerating peer-reviewed publications that validate our clinical impact.
- • Partner with Client Success to embed analytics directly into quarterly business reviews. You will translate complex statistical outputs into executive-ready narratives that secure multi-year renewals and expansion deals worth millions in ARR.
- • Lead cross-functional “analytics guilds” that set standards for experimentation, A/B testing, and causal inference across Product, Clinical, and Data Science. Your leadership will shorten the feedback loop between model deployment and measurable patient-outcome improvement.
- • Mentor junior engineers and analysts through code reviews, design sessions, and lunch-and-learns on topics like window functions, dimensional modeling, and cost-aware query optimization. Your coaching will raise the technical bar of the entire organization.
- • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies—from DuckDB to Snowflake Native Apps—to keep our stack lean, performant, and cost-effective. You will present quarterly tech-radar updates to the CTO and influence multi-year infrastructure roadmaps.
- • Champion a culture of reproducibility by integrating Git-based CI/CD, unit-tested SQL, and automated documentation into every analytics workflow. Your rigor will turn tribal knowledge into institutional knowledge as we scale from startup to category leader.
