• • Your core responsibilities will encompass taking full ownership of significant sections of our codebase, ensuring their integrity, performance, and maintainability. You will be tasked with developing and continuously improving monitoring and alerting mechanisms across all SentiLink products and services, with a sharp focus on actively reducing false positives to ensure actionable insights. A crucial part of your role will involve troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving product issues as they emerge, and you will actively participate in on-call rotations to address critical production incidents, ensuring minimal disruption.
• • You will play a key role in defining and refining Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in close collaboration with our product and engineering departments, ensuring alignment with business goals and user expectations. Building and maintaining comprehensive dashboards will be essential to provide clear and immediate visibility into system performance, health, and reliability for all stakeholders. Furthermore, you will collaborate extensively with various engineering teams to enhance our root cause analysis processes and significantly reduce Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) for any incidents. A significant area of focus will be driving cost optimization initiatives for our observability tools, including platforms like Datadong, CloudWatch, and Sumo Logic, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• • You will leverage observability data to meticulously analyze and optimize performance bottlenecks within our systems, ensuring peak efficiency. Developing and maintaining robust incident response runbooks and continuously improving our processes will be vital to minimize service downtime and maintain high availability.
