• • As a Senior Software Engineer, Backend at Camunda, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and developing our next-generation analytics product, a core component of our enterprise agentic automation platform.
• • Your primary focus will be on building robust, high-throughput SaaS capabilities that transform vast streams of process orchestration data into actionable insights, enabling our customers to understand and optimize their complex business processes.
• • You will be instrumental in measuring, quantifying, and articulating the performance characteristics of our analytics platform, specifically Camunda Optimize, working closely with reliability experts to identify key metrics and potential bottlenecks.
• • This role involves a deep dive into system performance, requiring you to propose and implement an iterative roadmap for performance and fault-tolerance enhancements, grounded in data-driven analysis and a thorough understanding of the product architecture.
• • You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of these improvements, including profiling, tuning, and rigorous validation in production-like environments to ensure measurable positive impacts.
• • A significant part of your work will involve designing and building both backend APIs using Java and frontend dashboards using React. These will be crucial for retrieving, aggregating, and visualizing complex analytics data sourced from distributed data stores.
