• • Join MongoDB's Cluster to Cluster Synchronization (C2C) team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing critical tools that power seamless data management for our global customer base.
• • This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a high-priority company initiative, focusing on the development of `mongosync`, a sophisticated tool designed for reliable migration, backup, and disaster recovery of MongoDB clusters. This tool is instrumental in facilitating customer transitions from on-premise MongoDB deployments to MongoDB Atlas, our leading Database-as-a-Service offering.
• • You will be instrumental in building `mongosync`, a robust database migration and syncing tool that is heavily utilized by both MongoDB Atlas and on-premise customers, ensuring data integrity and operational continuity.
• • Beyond `mongosync`, your responsibilities will extend to developing the broader MongoDB Database Tools suite. This includes a set of essential Command Line Interface (CLI) utilities crucial for interacting with MongoDB deployments, encompassing functionalities for data import, export, and diagnostics, thereby enhancing the overall developer experience.
• • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Customer Support, and fellow engineers across the organization. This collaborative approach ensures that we collectively build features that not only meet but exceed customer expectations, driving innovation and customer satisfaction.
