• In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing and shipping features for our cutting-edge visual data modeling tool, powered by our innovative Fusion engine. This is an opportunity to own significant product areas from conception to production, moving with speed, autonomy, and precision. You will directly impact the daily workflows of thousands of data teams worldwide, contributing to a product that is essential for modern data operations.

• Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable features for our cloud-based analytics engineering platform.
• Taking ownership of entire product features or components, from initial ideation and technical design through to implementation, testing, and production monitoring.
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and other Engineering teams, to define requirements and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in relevant technologies, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
• Contributing to architectural decisions and technical strategy, helping to shape the future of our platform.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our services.
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers, and upholding engineering best practices.
• Staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to innovate and enhance our product offering.
• Driving the development of our new visual data modeling tool, ensuring it meets the needs of sophisticated data teams.
• You will be a critical part of a fully remote, distributed team, requiring strong asynchronous communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different time zones.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record of building and shipping full-stack products that have demonstrably improved customer outcomes.
• Strong full-stack development skills, including proficiency in React/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and SQL, with the ability to own and manage the entire technology stack.
• Experience working effectively in an asynchronous, fully-remote, and distributed team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to weigh technical trade-offs, exhibit a bias towards action, and take full ownership of delivered work.
