• • As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to work across a diverse range of technologies and systems. Your contributions will be instrumental in delivering new features, enhancing performance, and significantly increasing the scalability of our Cloudflare One products.
• • You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of our systems, from design and development to deployment and operation, all built upon Cloudflare's expansive global edge network. • • Specific areas of focus for our teams include developing a high-performance Linux kernel-based networking dataplane that handles traffic from some of the world's largest networks. You may also work on a sophisticated userspace networking service that acts as a central hub, seamlessly connecting our Network Services and Zero Trust systems to enable comprehensive customer access to all products.
• • Further opportunities involve contributing to control plane systems that empower customers to define and manage complex network configurations with ease. You could also be involved in developing products that provide customers with deep visibility into cloud and SaaS security, as well as insights into network traffic trends and product usage patterns.
• • We are also working on backend systems that enable customers to manage their devices through our Zero Trust Network solution, and a critical MITM forward-proxy responsible for inspecting and filtering device traffic to enhance security.
• • Additionally, you will have the chance to work with threat intelligence, integrating data from a wide array of external sources and Cloudflare's own world-class data to provide actionable intelligence across multiple Cloudflare products.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of software engineering, including designing, building, and maintaining scalable software systems tailored for global network services and Zero Trust platforms.
• • You will develop robust, high-performance networking code, leveraging modern programming languages such as Rust and Go, which are central to our technology stack.
• • Close collaboration with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams will be essential to deliver innovative solutions for connectivity, security, and performance challenges.
• • You will actively participate in the design and integration of RESTful APIs and complex backend systems, with a particular emphasis on asynchronous and distributed architectures.
