- • Own end-to-end development of critical product features for the Coaching + Analytics team, from initial discovery through implementation, deployment, and iterative improvement.
- • Design and build scalable backend systems (70% of role) that handle real-time, high-volume workflows including call routing via event-driven SIP Softswitch and processing of audio streams for advanced speech recognition.
- • Develop frontend components (30% of role) using React and TypeScript to translate complex call data into intuitive, high-impact coaching tools that drive measurable changes in sales behavior.
- • Build and maintain systems that process and analyze thousands of sales conversations at scale to uncover actionable patterns and transform raw data into intelligent, behavior-shaping insights—not just dashboards.
- • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to shape product roadmaps, ensuring engineering, product, and design inputs are equally valued in decision-making.
- • Uphold and define coding standards to maintain a clean, maintainable, and scalable codebase using Node.js, TypeScript, React, Ruby, and PostgreSQL.
- • Mentor and support fellow engineers by sharing knowledge, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented engineering culture.
- • Contribute to technical architecture decisions that enable the team to handle massive volumes of real-time communication data with reliability and low latency.
- • Integrate with Google Cloud Platform services to deploy, monitor, and optimize distributed systems supporting real-time AI-driven coaching features.
- • Ensure all systems are well-tested, performant, and aligned with the company’s values of excellence, accountability, and integrity.
- • Participate in cross-functional product discovery sessions to translate user needs into technically feasible, impactful features that directly improve sales team outcomes.
- • Drive technical innovation by identifying opportunities to simplify complex signals from call data into simple, usable tools that empower sales coaches and reps.
- • Take ownership of system performance, reliability, and scalability as the platform grows to support thousands of sales teams processing millions of calls monthly.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform to support high-availability, low-latency real-time analytics.
- • Work in a remote-first environment with full autonomy, collaborating asynchronously and synchronously across the U.S. with distributed teams.
- • Act as a role model for engineering excellence by consistently delivering high-quality, well-documented, and production-ready code that sets a standard for the team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience owning features or products through the full lifecycle—from discovery to release to iteration
- • 6+ years of professional software development experience
- • 3+ years of experience building applications with JavaScript/TypeScript
- • Experience working with an RDBMS using SQL
- • Deep appreciation for simple, maintainable, and well-tested code
