• • You will be a Senior Software Engineer on our Core App team, taking on a high-ownership role where you will be responsible for delivering critical features and improvements from conception to deployment.
• • This end-to-end responsibility spans the entire development lifecycle, including DevOps, platform selection, and meticulous tuning of the user interface to ensure an exceptional user experience.
• • We are seeking engineers who possess a strong product and design sensibility, understanding that the best technical solutions are often those that are most intuitive and user-friendly.
• • You will collaborate closely with design and product experts, but also be empowered to independently design and ship user-facing features, demonstrating your ability to translate user needs into elegant technical solutions.
• • Your work will directly impact the core functionality of the Scrunch platform, enabling our growing base of over 500 paying brands, including Fortune 500 companies like Lenovo, category-defining brands like Skims, and breakout startups like Clerk, to effectively reach their audiences in the evolving AI landscape.
• • You will be instrumental in building and refining the web application features that form the backbone of our platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• • This role requires a deep understanding of modern web development practices and the ability to architect robust and maintainable code.
• • You will contribute to the design and implementation of high-quality REST APIs, leveraging Python as our primary language, but also welcoming experience with other languages like TypeScript or Go.
• • A significant part of your role will involve working with relational databases, writing efficient and effective application-style SQL, and understanding ORMs like SQLAlchemy.
• • You will be expected to write clean, well-documented, and testable code, with a strong emphasis on unit testing and designing for testability to ensure the quality and stability of our applications.
• • Proficiency in handling DevOps tasks is crucial. This includes managing and updating CI/CD pipelines, integrating and utilizing error monitoring tools, and implementing other observability solutions to maintain a healthy and performant production environment.
