  • • Build end-to-end AI features that directly drive revenue, defining success metrics and iterating until key indicators move meaningfully.
  • • Work directly with enterprise customers via Slack channels and live calls, shipping fixes and validating new features within hours of customer feedback.
  • • Design and implement foundational technical architecture for AI agent behavior, including agent memory systems per user and primitives for long-running outbound sales sequences.
  • • Own the Core Product surface used by over 1,500 customers, where reps spend 4+ hours daily drafting emails, running LinkedIn outreach, researching prospects, and queuing follow-ups.
  • • Make critical technical decisions on how AI agents interact with sales workflows, balancing automation with human oversight in the agent workspace.
  • • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design critiques, and pairing sessions on complex problems within the AI-powered sales stack.
  • • Collaborate with product and customer success teams to translate real-world sales challenges into scalable technical solutions.
  • • Debug production AI agent misbehaviors, build evaluation frameworks to prevent recurrence, and continuously improve agent accuracy and reliability.
  • • Contribute to the evolution of human-agent collaboration interfaces, shaping how sellers interact with AI in their daily workflows.
  • • Participate in the full product lifecycle—from ideation and prototyping to deployment and performance monitoring—on a product used by teams at Notion, HubSpot, Cursor, and Rippling.
  • • Operate with autonomy in a high-velocity environment where technical decisions have immediate impact on customer outcomes and company growth.
  • • Maintain a production environment built on React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability of AI-driven sales automation.
  • • Advocate for engineering excellence while remaining flexible in approach, holding strong opinions about product direction but adapting based on data and user feedback.
  • • Engage in daily in-office collaboration, working alongside a team of 40 engineers primarily composed of former founders and senior builders from Applied Intuition, Scale, Airtable, Citadel, and Jane Street.
  • • Contribute to a culture of technical craftsmanship, where team members collectively raise the bar through peer feedback, shared ownership, and high standards.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of engineering experience with depth in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Python
  • • Production experience building and debugging AI features, including developing evaluation systems to improve agent reliability
  • • Strong opinions, held loosely, on the design of human-agent collaboration interfaces in software
  • • Based in San Francisco and willing to work in-office 3+ days per week
  • • Proven ability to mentor engineers and improve team velocity through code reviews and collaboration
  • • Experience working directly with enterprise customers to validate product features and ship rapid iterations
