📋 Description
- • As a Senior Software Engineer on the Customer Portal team at Veriff, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the self-serve platform used by thousands of SaaS and Enterprise customers to manage identity verification services, directly impacting the customer lifecycle from purchase to setup.
- • Day to day, you will architect a multi-product engine to support 10+ services, balance enterprise-specific requirements with high-volume self-serve traffic, modernize legacy systems like the session list and decision profiles, coordinate cross-team alignment with Identity, Fraud, and Trust teams, and champion AI-enhanced workflows to amplify delivery efficiency.
- • You will join a fast-paced, innovative Engineering team at Veriff, a global leader in identity verification backed by top investors including Accel, Alkeon, IVP, Tiger Capital, and Y Combinator, with a distributed team across Estonia, Spain, the UK, and the US, dedicated to solving the online identity crisis at scale.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js, gain end-to-end ownership experience, lead technical modernization efforts, strengthen product-thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills, and grow into a technical leader shaping the future of Veriff’s customer-facing platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience building web applications with deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- • Proven end-to-end ownership of a product area, service, or system, not just contribution
- • Ability to modernize legacy systems incrementally while maintaining stability and performance
- • Strong product-thinking mindset: comfortable engaging in billing, configuration, and customer lifecycle discussions beyond ticket-level work
- • Genuine interest in AI-assisted development workflows and automation to enhance team delivery
