đź“‹ Description
- • As a Senior Software Engineer, Data & AI at Vendelux, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of event marketing by building AI-powered systems that transform how companies discover, evaluate, and maximize the impact of events. Your work will directly influence product innovation and customer success in a high-growth SaaS environment backed by top-tier investors.
- • You will design, develop, and productionize AI-driven features that sit at the core of Vendelux’s platform, turning complex data challenges into intuitive, impactful user experiences — from identifying high-value attendees at conferences to automating 1:1 meeting bookings and surfacing actionable insights across 250,000+ events.
- • You will operate as an end-to-end developer in a fast-paced startup, taking ownership from problem identification and prototyping through stakeholder alignment, deployment, and monitoring — ensuring every feature delivers measurable business value and aligns with customer needs.
- • You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams to translate business problems into technical solutions, applying modern AI techniques such as LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and AI agents while advocating for best practices in model quality, data integrity, and scalable system design.
- • You will help establish Vendelux as a leader in applied AI for event marketing by researching and implementing cutting-edge methods — balancing speed and impact over perfection — and contributing to a culture of innovation where your work directly shapes product direction and market differentiation.
- • You will grow your expertise in LLMs, recommendation systems, and production ML engineering while working alongside a talented team with deep backgrounds from Bain, ZoomInfo, Airbnb, Shutterstock, and other industry leaders, all united by a mission to make event marketing a scalable, data-driven growth channel.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or data engineering, with at least 3+ years building AI/ML-driven products.
- • Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL.
- • Experience with modern AI frameworks (e.g., HuggingFace, LangChain) and data pipeline tools (Airflow, Dagster, or equivalent).
- • Solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- • Proven experience applying LLMs and generative AI in production, including prompt engineering, RAG, and LLM deployment.
- • Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into data solutions that drive measurable business value and ship user-facing features with impact.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Direct product impact: Your models will shape how event marketers discover, connect, and measure ROI at scale.
- • Ownership and influence: You’ll set the standard for how Vendelux builds, evaluates, and ships AI across the organization.
- • Growth opportunities: Work on cutting-edge problems in LLMs, recommendation systems, and applied ML with real-world customer impact.
- • Collaborative, ambitious team: Join a group with elite backgrounds from Bain, ZoomInfo, Airbnb, Shutterstock, Forter, and more.
- • Backed by top investors: Be part of a Series A SaaS company with a recent $14M round led by FirstMark and strong product-market fit.
