• • Senior Software Engineer, DevOps role focused on ensuring fast, secure, and reliable releases for the Global Monitoring Service (GMS) App Team, which delivers near-real-time monitoring and analytics to Defense & Intelligence customers using Planet’s satellite data.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning the container-based application lifecycle, managing bi-weekly releases and CI/CD pipelines, deploying and monitoring applications on customer-isolated Kubernetes clusters, ensuring SLA compliance through proactive alerting, participating in 24x7 on-call rotations, debugging complex issues, managing Terraform deployments for data pipelines, and providing full-stack technical expertise to customer-facing teams.
