• • Senior Software Engineer, DevOps role focused on ensuring fast, secure, and reliable releases for the Global Monitoring Service (GMS) App Team at Planet Labs PBC, supporting Defense & Intelligence customers with near-real-time satellite data monitoring and analytics.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning the container-based application lifecycle, managing bi-weekly releases and CI/CD pipelines, deploying and maintaining customer-isolated Kubernetes clusters with stateful applications and persistent storage, ensuring SLA compliance through proactive monitoring and 24x7 on-call participation, rapidly debugging complex issues, managing Terraform deployments for data pipelines, and providing full-stack technical expertise to customer-facing teams.
