We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and driving the success of our mission-critical privacy and data security products. • As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure web applications and RESTful APIs. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing application performance and security for enterprise-scale deployments, handling massive volumes of data and complex privacy requests. You will tackle challenging technical problems, contributing to the continuous improvement of our patented Hybrid AI technology, which intelligently combines machine learning, text analytics, and data science with human expertise to deliver unparalleled data privacy solutions.
• Your responsibilities will extend beyond individual contributions. You will have the opportunity to lead feature implementation, redesign complex interfaces, and mentor junior engineers, cultivating a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into high-quality, performant, and secure software solutions, ensuring timely delivery of critical features and enhancements.
• This role demands a deep understanding of backend development, API design, and database management. You will be responsible for building scalable, load-balanced applications capable of handling significant traffic and complex data processing. A strong command of the LAMP/LEMP stack and Linux command line proficiency is essential for day-to-day operations and debugging. You will also be involved in optimizing existing systems, identifying performance bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to ensure our platform remains at the cutting edge of efficiency and reliability.
• We are looking for an engineer who is passionate about writing clean, secure, and high-quality code. Your ability to debug complex software issues efficiently will be vital in maintaining the integrity and performance of our platform. You will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from conception and design to implementation, testing, and deployment. This includes actively participating in code reviews, promoting best practices, and ensuring adherence to security and privacy standards.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of microservices architecture, database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL), and caching mechanisms. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and containerization technologies such as Docker is highly desirable. You will also be involved in DevOps practices, including version control with Git and Bitbucket, and potentially contributing to CI/CD pipelines.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of work experience in software engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong background with LAMP/LEMP stack and Linux command line proficiency.
• Strong proficiency in debugging complex software issues.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship.
