📋 Description

• As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in AI at eScribe Software Inc., you will be at the forefront of innovation, driving the design, development, and maintenance of critical software applications. This role is pivotal in shaping our technology stack and solving complex engineering challenges, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI-assisted development practices to enhance productivity and elevate code quality across the entire engineering team.
• You will take ownership of significant projects, providing essential technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• A key aspect of this role involves influencing and contributing to high-level architectural decisions. Your expertise will ensure the scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability of our software systems, aligning with industry best practices and future technological advancements.
• You will be responsible for writing clean, reusable code and developing robust libraries for future use. This includes conducting thorough code reviews, enforcing stringent coding standards, and ensuring the highest level of code quality and consistency throughout all projects.
• Analyzing and resolving complex technical issues will be a core responsibility, requiring a keen ability to optimize code, troubleshoot effectively, and improve overall system performance to meet demanding operational requirements.
• Collaboration is central to this position. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, to deliver innovative and impactful software solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.
• Developing comprehensive test plans and executing rigorous testing protocols will be crucial to guarantee the reliability, stability, and robustness of all software developed under your purview.
• You will be tasked with creating and maintaining essential technical documentation, encompassing architecture diagrams, API specifications, and detailed best practice guides, ensuring knowledge transfer and system understanding.
• Active participation in agile development processes is expected, including sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and retrospective sessions, contributing to an efficient and iterative development lifecycle.
• A significant focus of this role is the adoption and strategic use of AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code and PlayerZero. You will champion their use to boost personal productivity, accelerate development velocity, and significantly enhance the quality of the code produced by the team.
• You will directly contribute to the development of AI-powered features, collaborating with senior engineers to seamlessly integrate advanced AI capabilities into our software solutions, pushing the boundaries of what our products can achieve.
• This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous learning, especially in the rapidly evolving field of AI and its application in software engineering.
• You will help define and implement best practices for AI integration, ensuring ethical considerations and optimal performance are maintained.
• The Senior Software Engineer will play a crucial role in mentoring and upskilling other team members in AI-assisted development techniques and AI feature implementation.

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10 years of professional software development experience, with a strong track record in software design and architecture.
• 3-5 years of experience building and maintaining Vue.JS (or similar e.g., React, Angular 2+) applications.
• 3-5 years of experience developing web applications with C# and .NET Core.
• Experience with or strong interest in AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or PlayerZero; demonstrated ability to leverage these tools to improve productivity and code quality.
