We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Software Engineer I to join our dynamic Content Inspection team, based in EMEA - Israel.
• • The Content Inspection team is at the heart of Menlo Security's platform, responsible for all file processing operations. This includes managing file uploads and downloads, intricate document handling, and the secure processing of email attachments. Our work spans across both our Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Isolation products, ensuring comprehensive protection for our users.
• • As a Senior Software Engineer I on this team, you will play a pivotal role in decoding, parsing, and inspecting files to detect and neutralize malicious content. You will leverage our proprietary patented techniques and integrate with cutting-edge third-party solutions to build robust security measures.
• • Our innovative web isolation platform provides a unique advantage, allowing us to intercept files at a granular level, beyond traditional network or SWG layers. This enables us to prevent malware from reaching endpoints by employing advanced techniques such as Anti-Virus (AV) scanning, Sandboxing, and seamless integration with various external security tools.
• • Beyond malware prevention, you will contribute to safeguarding sensitive corporate data from exfiltration. This involves developing and enhancing solutions for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) matching, static analysis, and the application of machine learning algorithms to identify, block, and alert on the unauthorized transfer of confidential information.

• • You will be instrumental in evaluating and implementing the latest development and deployment technologies. This includes designing APIs, building highly available and scalable distributed systems, and developing multithreaded/asynchronous applications with a paramount focus on performance and security.
• • As a senior member of the team, you will technically lead large-scale projects from conception to completion. You will be actively involved in the entire lifecycle of our platform, including building, deploying, and operating it.
• • Your responsibilities will extend to architecting, designing, developing, and owning new features and services. You will be a key contributor to shaping Menlo Security's technical roadmap, influencing the future direction of our innovative security solutions.
• • Collaboration is key. You will partner closely with product managers, security experts, operations teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements, project timelines, and strategic objectives.
• • We foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption and refinement of engineering best practices. This includes championing test-driven development (TDD), continuous delivery (CD), agile methodologies like Scrum, robust automation strategies, and the creation of maintainable and thoroughly testable code.
