• • As a Senior Software Engineer I on Axon’s Connected Devices Cloud team, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and evolving the cloud services that power the next generation of connected devices for first responders. • • You will be instrumental in designing and implementing highly-available, low-latency distributed systems, transforming complex, data-intensive challenges into elegant, robust, and scalable solutions. • • This role demands strong technical leadership, with the ability to influence multiple engineering teams and drive improvements across the connected devices ecosystem. • • You will take ownership of system design and architecture for large-scale, Kubernetes-based services. • • Setting the technical bar is a core responsibility. You will be expected to write well-tested, maintainable code, conduct rigorous code and design reviews, and actively champion engineering best practices across Axon. Your commitment to quality will elevate the standards for the entire team.

You will shape service capacity planning, optimize resource tuning (CPU/memory), define SLO/SLA targets, and implement resilience patterns for mission-critical workloads, ensuring our systems are always operational and performant.
• • You will advance our DevOps stack by evolving secure, repeatable CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD and Terraform, and integrating robust observability solutions to monitor system health and performance.
• • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and partner engineering groups to craft integrated solutions that delight customers in public safety and beyond, ensuring our technology meets their evolving needs.
