- • Senior Software Engineer I, Localization (Remote Canada) at Optro Inc., a leading audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform with over $300M ARR and trusted by more than 50% of the Fortune 500, including 7 of the Fortune 10.
- • Own the internationalization and localization frameworks for AuditBoard’s products, configuring tools, automating translation workflows, and optimizing processes to support global customer expansion.
- • Work cross-functionally with internal software engineering teams, Product, Customer Success, translators, and program managers to ensure consistent, high-quality localized experiences across markets and products.
- • Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to monitor operational health, drive continuous improvements, and support localization efficiency through automation and analytics.
- • Lead end-to-end issue management, triage, prioritization, and resolution, while mentoring non-technical team members and maintaining documentation of best practices and changes.
- • Contribute to a fast-growing, innovative culture rooted in customer obsession, gritty resilience, drive to innovate, teamwork, and a growth mindset, helping shape the future of localization at one of North America’s 500 fastest-growing tech companies.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years prior experience in software localization/internationalization
- • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics (or equivalent experience)
- • 3+ years proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS programming languages
- • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
