📋 Description

• • Own the evolution of our infrastructure mindset: you will move Chainalysis’ Compliance platform from a centralized, ticket-driven model to a true self-service culture where every product engineer can provision, deploy, and observe their own services without waiting for a gatekeeper.
• • Architect and codify TradFi-grade foundations: design Terraform modules, Kubernetes operators, and policy-as-code that bake in SOC-2, ISO-27001, and FedLine-grade controls so that compliant infrastructure is the default, not an afterthought.
• • Accelerate release velocity without sacrificing reliability: build reusable GitHub Actions workflows, progressive delivery pipelines (canary, blue/green), and automated rollback mechanisms that let squads ship multiple times per day while keeping error budgets intact.
• • Embed observability into every service template: define golden signals, error budgets, and SLOs that developers can adopt in minutes; pair with self-service Grafana dashboards, distributed tracing, and synthetic monitoring so teams detect and fix issues before our largest banking clients ever notice.
• • Lead large-scale migrations with zero downtime: shepherd legacy EC2/VM workloads into modern EKS clusters, refactor CI/CD from Jenkins to GitHub Actions, and introduce Kafka-based event sourcing—all while maintaining product momentum and regulatory audit trails.
• • Coach and pair daily: run internal workshops, brown-bags, and pairing sessions that upskill product engineers on Kubernetes, Terraform, and incident-response playbooks, turning infrastructure knowledge into shared team property rather than tribal lore.
• • Influence the roadmap: translate regulatory requirements and customer RFPs into technical epics, ensuring that security, compliance, and scalability are first-class citizens in every quarterly OKR cycle.
• • Champion cost and performance efficiency: implement automated rightsizing, spot-instance orchestration, and usage attribution so that every squad understands the cloud bill impact of their architectural choices.
• • Bridge Platform and Product teams: act as the diplomatic glue that aligns central platform vision with squad-level realities, ensuring that reusable components (service mesh, secrets management, policy agents) actually get adopted because they solve real pain points.
• • Participate in an on-call rotation that is blameless and educational, using each incident as a case study to harden runbooks and drive systemic fixes that prevent recurrence across all services.
