• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining high-performance APIs and backend services. Your primary technical focus will be on Golang and Java, specifically leveraging the Quarkus framework for Java development. This role is crucial for building robust, scalable, and resilient solutions designed for cloud-first and distributed environments, ensuring our systems can handle complex financial transactions and demanding workloads.
• You will be instrumental in contributing to the architectural design of our systems, ensuring that we adhere to and enforce stringent engineering best practices. This includes championing principles of clean code, implementing comprehensive observability, establishing rigorous testing methodologies, and prioritizing reliability in all aspects of development. Your input will directly influence the technical direction and quality of our software products.
• Collaboration is key to our success. You will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to deliver polished, reliable features that meet and exceed client expectations. This cross-functional teamwork ensures alignment and efficient delivery from concept to production.
• A significant part of your responsibility will involve optimizing our CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and rapid deployments. You will also focus on performance tuning of our services and enhancing service-to-service integrations, ensuring seamless communication and data flow within our distributed architecture.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of strong, hands-on experience with Golang development.
• Proven experience with Java and the Quarkus framework.
• Practical experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and messaging queues like Kafka or SQS.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, Git, and modern software deployment and versioning practices.
• Ability to analyze, understand, and solve complex technical problems calmly and effectively.
