📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer, JavaScript/TypeScript (Remote) – Build scalable full-stack systems powering Bjak’s mission to deliver affordable financial services across ASEAN.
• Develop high-quality backend systems using NodeJS and frontend applications with ReactJS/NextJS, ensuring production stability and resolving critical issues promptly.
• Analyze and optimize existing code, support cross-functional teams with change requests, mentor junior developers, and review pull requests to uphold code quality.
• Join a mission-driven team at Bjak, Southeast Asia’s largest insurance portal, leveraging technology to expand access to financial services in Malaysia and beyond.
• Grow technically and professionally by tackling complex challenges, improving system performance, and contributing to innovative solutions in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Over 3 years of full-time experience in software engineering.
• Proficient in backend technologies including NodeJS, NestJS, ExpressJS, GraphQL, and Postman.
• Proficient in frontend technologies such as ReactJS, NextJS, and Styled-components.
• Experienced in database management with MongoDB and MySQL.
• Familiar with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Puppeteer.
