- • A core responsibility will be the maintenance and development of Kubernetes operators, which are essential for automating the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications within our storage ecosystem.
- • You will also be deeply involved in developing and enhancing our Container Storage Interface (CSI) plugin, ensuring seamless integration and high-performance storage provisioning for Kubernetes environments.
- • Contribute to the development of a cutting-edge web-based solution that provides comprehensive management, operational oversight, and real-time monitoring of our distributed storage infrastructure.
- • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, other engineering groups, and SREs, to define, design, and implement new APIs that will drive the evolution of our storage platform.
- • Take ownership of critical components of the storage management plane, from initial design and architecture through to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- • Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization.
- • Debug and resolve complex issues in distributed systems, Kubernetes, and web application environments.
- • Contribute to the technical roadmap and architectural decisions for the storage management plane, influencing the direction of our technology stack.
- • Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- • Engage with the open-source community where applicable, contributing to projects related to Kubernetes, CSI, or related storage technologies.
- • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the storage management plane, meeting the demanding requirements of NVIDIA's cutting-edge AI and HPC solutions.
