• • As a Senior Software Engineer on the Merchant Decisioning team, your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and crucial to the success of our platform. You will take full ownership of our Python-based underwriting and application decisioning product, driving its development from conception through to deployment and iteration. This includes defining the architectural vision and underlying infrastructure, making key decisions about the technologies we employ and the design principles that guide our work. A significant part of your role will involve close collaboration with our data science team to build a platform that is not only reliable and scalable but also highly adaptable and easily iterable. You will be responsible for integrating Machine Learning (ML) infrastructure into the platform, enhancing the power and intelligence of our data-driven decisioning processes. This integration will enable more sophisticated and accurate decision-making, directly impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of our underwriting capabilities. You will also work closely with stakeholders from Data Science, Growth, and Risk teams to ensure the product efficiently serves Parafin’s portfolio and provides them with the necessary controls to influence Parafin’s growth and financial performance. Your work will directly shape the controls and parameters that govern our business operations and strategic direction.
