• • As a Senior Software Engineer, Revenue at Pinecone Systems Inc., you will be instrumental in architecting, developing, and scaling the critical revenue systems that form the financial backbone of our rapidly growing company. This is a unique opportunity to take on significant technical leadership and ownership within the Experience Platform team, focusing on the intricate details of billing, metering, and revenue pipelines.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to set the technical direction for these vital systems. This includes defining the architectural vision, establishing robust engineering standards, and selecting appropriate tooling to ensure the highest levels of reliability, scalability, and accuracy. You will be the foremost technical authority on revenue infrastructure, guiding the team and the broader engineering organization.
• • You will be tasked with building and scaling sophisticated event-driven pipelines. These pipelines will be responsible for ingesting, transforming, and aggregating vast amounts of usage data. A relentless focus on accuracy, reliability, and auditability will be paramount, ensuring that every dollar of customer usage is captured, reconciled, and reported with absolute precision.
• • A key aspect of this role involves owning and managing integrations with external financial systems and third-party vendor APIs.
