• • Join GoDaddy as a Senior Software Engineer – Solutions Consultant and become the technical linchpin who turns ambitious customer visions into production-ready reality. You will sit at the intersection of engineering, product strategy, and customer success, guiding entrepreneurs and small-business owners across the globe as they launch, scale, and modernize their digital presence on GoDaddy’s platform.
• • Own the end-to-end technical discovery and solution design for high-value accounts. You will run deep-dive workshops with customers to surface pain points, map business objectives to technical requirements, and craft reference architectures that leverage GoDaddy’s APIs, hosting, commerce, and security products.
• • Translate complex requirements into elegant, scalable code. Expect to write production-grade prototypes, integration libraries, and reusable accelerators in Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or Go. Your code will often become the foundation for internal tooling and external SDKs used by thousands of developers.
• • Act as a trusted advisor during pre-sales and post-sales cycles. You will pair with account executives and customer success managers to demo advanced capabilities, de-risk migrations, and quantify ROI. Your ability to explain DNS propagation, PCI compliance, or headless commerce to non-technical stakeholders will directly influence multi-year contract renewals.
• • Champion best-practice cloud architecture on AWS and Azure. You will design multi-region, auto-scaling workloads that meet 99.9 % uptime SLAs, optimize for cost, and satisfy SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls. Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi is part of your daily toolkit.
• • Drive continuous feedback loops between customers and product engineering. You will distill field insights into actionable user stories, prioritize them with PMs, and occasionally jump into the codebase to deliver hot-fixes or feature toggles that unblock marquee launches.
• • Mentor junior engineers and solutions consultants across EMEA. Through pair programming, brown-bag sessions, and code reviews, you will raise the bar for clean architecture, test coverage, and documentation. Your leadership will shape Serbia’s growing remote hub into a center of excellence.
• • Measure what matters. You will instrument telemetry, set SLOs, and analyze usage analytics to prove that the solutions you ship drive revenue, reduce churn, and elevate customer NPS. Expect to present quarterly business reviews to senior leadership.
• • Stay on the cutting edge. Whether it’s experimenting with WebAssembly at the edge, evaluating serverless databases, or prototyping generative-AI storefronts, you will allocate 10 % of your time to R&D spikes that keep GoDaddy ahead of the curve.
