- • As a Senior Solutions Architect at WunderGraph, you will be a pivotal technical expert, operating at the critical intersection of cutting-edge technology and tangible business value. Your role is to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling solutions that build customer confidence and drive adoption. You will thrive in greenfield opportunities, taking ownership of building and architecting solutions from the ground up.
- • This is not a conventional Solutions Architect position. As one of our first technical go-to-market hires, you will be at the forefront of WunderGraph's growth. You will serve as the primary technical voice, illuminating the possibilities of our platform to prospective clients. You will be the trusted advisor who guides clients from initial interest to concrete implementation, acting as the essential bridge between our innovative product and the real-world challenges our customers face.
- • Your expertise will extend to navigating complex technical landscapes and stakeholder relationships, engaging effectively with everyone from senior engineers to Chief Technology Officers. You will excel at articulating value, building credibility, and managing intricate evaluation processes. This involves skillfully balancing technical demonstrations with proof-of-concept implementations, gathering detailed requirements, and positioning WunderGraph against competitors.
- • You will possess the technical acumen to write code when necessary, confidently review and assess existing architectures, and articulate the intricacies of API federation to diverse audiences, from individual developers to VPs of Engineering. Above all, your commitment to understanding and solving customer challenges with WunderGraph's unique capabilities will be the driving force behind your success.
- • Your primary objective is to demonstrate unwavering ownership and proactively drive the pre-sales function forward, ensuring it becomes a cornerstone of WunderGraph's success. You will be instrumental in enabling the sales team to consistently achieve and surpass revenue targets by providing exceptional technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle.
- • You will ensure that technical evaluations are executed flawlessly. This includes designing and delivering Proofs of Concept (POCs) that clearly demonstrate the value proposition of WunderGraph, confidently addressing and overcoming technical objections, and leaving prospects genuinely excited about the potential of what they can build with our platform.
- • A key aspect of your role will be cultivating trusted, engineer-to-engineer relationships. You will be perceived by customers as their dedicated advocate, deeply invested in their success, rather than merely a representative of a vendor.
- • You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between customer needs and product development. By channeling customer insights, well-documented feature requests, and competitive intelligence to our Product and Engineering teams, you will directly influence the product roadmap and contribute to the evolution of the WunderGraph platform.
- • Your efforts will contribute to predictable conversion rates from evaluation to purchase, establishing repeatable and scalable patterns within the pre-sales process that you help to define and refine.
- • You will enhance our technical sales enablement assets, ensuring our demo environments, reference architectures, and technical collateral are up-to-date, impactful, and actively accelerate deal cycles.
- • You will represent WunderGraph with a high degree of technical credibility, instilling deep confidence in prospects and solidifying our reputation as a leader in API management.
- • Furthermore, you will follow the client's journey post-sales, understanding that the solutions you architect are integral to their ongoing operations and long-term success. This follow-through is essential for identifying opportunities to deliver additional value and ensure seamless integration and adoption.
- • You will report directly to the VP of Sales, maintaining a close and collaborative working relationship with the CEO and CTO. Your role involves close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to effectively communicate customer feedback, influence the product roadmap, and contribute to overall platform improvements. You will serve as the critical link between customer technical requirements and the delivery of product value, actively shaping and scaling the pre-sales function in alignment with company leadership.
