📋 Description

• As a Senior Solutions Architect at Gorilla, you will be instrumental in leading the technical aspects of our customer implementations and integrations, specifically focusing on our innovative data solutions within the dynamic energy sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our clients not only adopt but also maximally benefit from our cutting-edge SaaS solutions designed for data processing and analysis, all while contributing to a lower-carbon future.
• You will serve as the primary technical advisor, guiding clients to enhance their data architecture and ensuring the fit-for-purpose system architecture aligns with their strategic objectives and Gorilla's capabilities. This involves a deep dive into their existing infrastructure, identifying opportunities for optimization, and architecting solutions that are both robust and scalable.
• A key responsibility is to act as a thought leader, driving internal enablement initiatives and advocating for product improvements. This includes actively participating in the definition of the product roadmap and contributing to the product development lifecycle, ensuring that Gorilla's offerings remain at the forefront of technological advancement and market needs.
• You will be responsible for providing high-quality technical advice and guidance to both customers and internal teams. This includes conducting thorough audits of requirements, designs, architecture, and scalability to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• The role demands the development of comprehensive technical specifications and detailed architectural designs that form the backbone of successful client implementations. These blueprints will be crucial during advisory services and sales engagements, clearly articulating the technical vision and plan.
• Delivering solid technical project plans and blueprints is essential. You will translate complex client needs and technical requirements into actionable plans that guide the implementation process from inception to completion, ensuring clarity and alignment across all stakeholders.
• Ensuring clients fully understand and effectively utilize Gorilla's solutions is paramount. This will be achieved through high-quality technical training and advisory services, directly contributing to high customer retention and satisfaction rates. Your expertise will empower clients to leverage our platform to its fullest potential.
• You will be a champion for continuous improvement, consistently proposing and implementing process enhancements, best practices, and documentation updates. This proactive approach will elevate the excellence and effectiveness of our project implementation methodologies.
• Collaboration with product teams is a significant aspect of this role. You will partner closely with them to define technical roadmap features and capabilities, ensuring that product development is informed by real-world implementation challenges and client feedback.
• Mentoring junior implementation consultants is a vital part of fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the team. You will share your knowledge and experience, helping to develop the next generation of technical experts at Gorilla.
• Driving internal enablement through the creation of product implementation blueprints, comprehensive product documentation, and valuable implementation assets will be key. Establishing and promoting best practices will ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
• This role requires occasional travel to customer sites, estimated at a few days per month, to facilitate in-person collaboration and deep-dive technical sessions.
• Your expertise will be crucial in assessing client needs and infrastructure, developing tailored solutions that address specific challenges and opportunities within the energy sector.
• You will leverage your deep understanding of system integrations, data-intensive applications, and architectural design to build and deliver solutions that are both effective and efficient.
• Proficiency in integration technologies such as REST API, JSON, XML, SFTP, and FTPS, along with experience on cloud platforms, particularly AWS, will be essential for designing and implementing robust solutions.
• Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, will be critical for engaging with diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership.
• By ensuring successful technical implementations, you will directly contribute to Gorilla's mission of driving digital transformation, maximizing client ROI, and supporting the transition to a net-zero emissions future through advanced data solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, with a proven track record of delivering large IT projects that align business objectives with technical requirements and constraints.
• Deep understanding of system integrations, data-intensive applications, and architectural design, including knowledge of various integration technologies, data technologies, and cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex client needs and infrastructure to develop effective, tailored solutions.
• Proficiency in integration technologies (REST API, JSON, XML, SFTP, FTPS) and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Fluent in English with exceptional written and spoken communication skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector is a significant plus.
