• Are you a seasoned technical advisor with a passion for enabling developers and shaping the future of digital communication? Stream Labs, Inc. is seeking an exceptional Senior Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team, based in our Boulder office with flexible hybrid or fully remote options available across the US. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of Stream’s cutting-edge APIs and SDKs, which power essential messaging, video, and activity feed functionalities for a vast array of applications.
• As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical liaison for prospective and existing customers. Your mission will be to deeply understand their unique challenges and business objectives, and then architect elegant, scalable, and performant solutions using Stream’s powerful platform. You will guide customers through complex integration discussions, demonstrate the tangible value of our products, and ensure they can leverage Stream to deliver outstanding user experiences that captivate millions.
• This role demands a unique blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and outstanding interpersonal skills. You will be more than just a technical expert; you will be a trusted advisor, a problem-solver, and a crucial bridge connecting our customers’ needs with Stream’s engineering and product development efforts. • Key responsibilities include leading in-depth technical discovery sessions with diverse stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and architects at client organizations. You will be responsible for crafting and delivering compelling custom demonstrations, proof-of-concept prototypes, and persuasive technical presentations that are meticulously tailored to each customer's specific use case and strategic goals.
• During pre-sales evaluations, proofs of concept, and pilot projects, you will act as the main technical point of contact, providing expert guidance and support. A critical aspect of your role will be translating complex customer business goals into well-defined Stream solution architectures, clearly articulating both the value proposition and the technical feasibility of the proposed integrations.
• Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work hand-in-hand with our Sales and Customer Success teams, ensuring a seamless and positive transition from the pre-sales phase through to successful implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction. Your expertise will also be called upon to respond to the technical sections of RFPs/RFIs, and to assist in the creation of comprehensive solution documentation and detailed architecture diagrams.
• As a subject matter expert on Stream’s APIs, SDKs, and cloud infrastructure, you will be expected to stay at the forefront of new feature releases and technological advancements. This knowledge will enable you to provide accurate and insightful guidance to customers and internal teams alike.
• Furthermore, you will play a vital role in advocating for our customers’ needs within Stream. By providing structured, actionable feedback to our Product and Engineering teams, you will directly influence our product roadmap and help prioritize future development efforts, ensuring Stream continues to meet and exceed market demands.
• This is a senior position, and as such, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior sales engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster their growth. You will also contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of our sales engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices, helping to elevate the entire team’s capabilities.
• Beyond direct customer engagement, you will represent Stream at industry events, webinars, and conferences. In these forums, you will act as a technical thought leader and a brand ambassador, showcasing Stream’s innovation and expertise to a wider audience.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant role, preferably within an infrastructure or API-focused technology company.
• Proven track record of successfully supporting enterprise-level pre-sales engagements, demonstrating both deep technical expertise and strong business acumen.
• Solid understanding of modern application architectures, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with mobile and web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, iOS, Android) and cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Kotlin, Swift, Java, or experience with frameworks like React Native).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
