📋 Description

• • Lead the design, evolution, and production deployment of critical backend platforms that power electricity forecasting, pricing, optimization, and deal execution at scale.
• • Build and maintain distributed systems using event-driven architectures, asynchronous workflows, and stateful workflows that ensure correctness and reliability in high-stakes energy transactions.
• • Own and improve the operational foundations of core platform infrastructure, including observability, testing rigor, deployment safety, and incident reduction to minimize system failures.
• • Design and implement scalable APIs, data models, and workflow orchestration systems that handle complex commercial processes with strict consistency and failure-recovery requirements.
• • Collaborate directly with machine learning and data teams to productionize forecasting, optimization, and pricing models, ensuring safe, monitored integration into live transaction systems.
• • Drive major technical initiatives from concept through production, balancing technical depth with business impact across engineering, product, commercial, and data teams.
• • Mentor senior engineers and influence engineering standards organization-wide, raising the bar for architectural quality, code review practices, and system design documentation.
• • Anticipate and preempt scaling challenges by proactively evolving platform architecture to support exponential growth in transaction volume and geographic expansion.
