- • Architect and maintain scalable Base SAS, SAS Macro, and SAS SQL codebases that process terabyte-scale clinical, financial, and IoT datasets, ensuring sub-second query performance and 99.9 % uptime.
- • Translate complex business questions into elegant data models, leveraging advanced SQL joins, sub-queries, materialized views, and indexing strategies on Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL engines.
- • Implement rigorous data-validation frameworks that automatically detect anomalies, enforce referential integrity, and generate audit-ready exception reports for regulatory submissions and compliance reviews.
- • Lead code-review sessions and mentor junior engineers, establishing best-practice standards for version control (Git), automated testing, and continuous integration that reduce defect leakage by 40 %.
- • Partner with cross-functional squads of data scientists, product managers, and cloud architects to deliver end-to-end ETL pipelines that ingest, cleanse, and transform raw data into actionable insights.
- • Optimize existing legacy SAS processes—refactoring monolithic scripts into modular, reusable macros that cut runtime by 60 % and lower cloud compute costs through intelligent resource scheduling.
- • Design and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including data dictionaries, run-books, and user guides that empower non-technical stakeholders to self-serve analytics requests.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation by integrating Python or R modules for advanced statistical modeling, enabling predictive analytics and machine-learning prototypes that unlock new revenue streams.
- • Collaborate with InfoSec and Compliance teams to embed GDPR, HIPAA, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 controls into every layer of the data stack, ensuring zero-tolerance adherence to global privacy mandates.
- • Leverage Google BigQuery’s serverless architecture to prototype real-time dashboards and interactive visualizations in Tableau or Power BI, giving executives live KPI visibility across global operations.
- • Contribute to Nagarro’s open-source initiatives and internal knowledge base, publishing white-papers and speaking at industry conferences to position the company as a thought leader in data engineering.
- • Continuously scan the horizon for emerging technologies—evaluating cloud-native ETL tools, lake-house architectures, and low-code analytics platforms—to future-proof our data strategy and maintain competitive advantage.
