Senior/Staff/Principal Product Designer (ACF)

📋 Description

• • As a Senior/Staff/Principal Product Designer at Skylight, Inc., you will advocate for users, uncover opportunities, and turn insights into designs that improve how government delivers services, working end-to-end from research and concepts through implementation to ensure services are usable, accessible, and sustainable.
• • You will partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers to shape product strategy, plan and conduct research to uncover user needs, define end-to-end flows and interaction patterns, create accessible interfaces, prototype ideas, build in accessibility and security from the start, align designs with measurable outcomes like OKRs and KPIs, and help federal teams sustain improvements through training, enablement, and reusable resources such as templates, playbooks, and decision records.

• • In this role, you will develop expertise in designing for complex government systems, strengthen your ability to bridge design with policy and operations, lead the evolution of scalable design systems, gain experience in change management and enablement for public sector clients, and contribute to lasting improvements in public service delivery through evidence-based, accessible, and sustainable design.
