- • As a Senior/Staff Product Designer at Brightline Interactive Inc., you will lead high-impact design initiatives that directly improve clinical outcomes and member experiences for children, families, and providers in pediatric mental health care. Your work will bridge digital and in-person workflows to create cohesive, scalable solutions that advance Brightline’s mission of delivering accessible, high-quality behavioral health services.
- • You will define strategic impact by owning end-to-end design projects that enhance care efficacy, from initial concept through implementation, ensuring designs are grounded in deep user insights and aligned with long-term business objectives.
- • Day to day, you will deepen user understanding by conducting research, synthesizing feedback from kids, families, clinicians, and staff, and advocating for empathetic solutions that meet real needs across complex care journeys.
- • You will architect product vision collaboratively by partnering with Product, Engineering, Clinical Operations, Care Teams, and Marketing to translate insights into forward-leaning, feasible designs that support both user satisfaction and clinical effectiveness.
- • You will craft well-loved designs by creating detailed workflows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, iteratively validating with users, and partnering with engineering to ensure faithful implementation while contributing to and evolving the design system for consistency and scalability.
- • You will establish design criteria and metrics by defining measurable UX benchmarks tied to clinical and business outcomes, enabling data-driven iteration and continuous improvement of the member and provider experience.
- • You will champion a culture of design by mentoring junior designers, promoting design thinking, advocating for DEI in design practices, and elevating quality standards across cross-functional teams.
- • You will operate with high autonomy, navigating complex clinical flows and identifying systemic edge cases early, while being trusted to make strategic design decisions with minimal oversight, reviewed primarily for alignment with organizational goals.
- • About the team or company: Brightline is a mission-driven, fast-growing leader in pediatric mental health, combining virtual and in-person care to serve families nationwide. Backed by top-tier investors and recognized for innovation (Fast Company 50 Most Innovative Companies, 2022), the company fosters a collaborative, purpose-led culture where design plays a critical role in shaping care delivery.
- • What the person can learn or achieve in this role: You will have the opportunity to shape the future of child and family mental health care at scale, influence product strategy through design leadership, build a lasting design system, and grow as a strategic design leader in a high-impact, socially meaningful environment where your work directly improves lives.
