• As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be a pivotal hands-on technical leader, instrumental in owning the architecture, design, and delivery of complex, scalable systems. This role is crucial for providing senior technical guidance, championing engineering best practices, setting a high bar for development velocity and impact, and ensuring that our technical execution is tightly aligned with our ambitious business objectives.
• You will be at the forefront of developing our revolutionary recruiting agents. These agents are designed to transform how organizations, from fast-growing startups to large interconnected networks like venture capital funds, accelerators, membership communities, economic development organizations, and universities, discover top talent. By automating tedious tasks, our agents free up valuable time for our customers, allowing them to concentrate on strategic initiatives and the crucial art of relationship building, recognizing that the most qualified candidates often emerge from trusted networks.
• Your responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and architectural design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of robust and scalable solutions. You'll be expected to dive deep into complex technical challenges, architecting systems that are not only performant and reliable but also adaptable to future growth and evolving business needs.
• We are looking for an individual who can mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and collaborative problem-solving. You will play a key role in code reviews, design discussions, and the adoption of new technologies and methodologies that enhance our engineering capabilities.

• You will be instrumental in driving architectural decisions, ensuring that our systems are built with scalability, security, and maintainability as core tenets. This includes evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, defining coding standards, and implementing robust testing strategies.
• The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), and modern software development practices. Experience with AI/ML integration within software products is highly desirable, given the core nature of our platform.
• You will contribute to the technical roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within our existing systems and exploring new technological avenues to maintain our competitive edge.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering complex, scalable software systems as a senior individual contributor or technical lead.
• Deep expertise in designing and implementing distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native applications (AWS preferred).
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js) and a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
