• • As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Frontend (ACF) at Skylight, Inc., you will play a critical role in modernizing government services by building intuitive, accessible, and reliable web applications that help families, patients, and the public navigate complex systems with confidence. Your work directly supports the Administration for Children and Families’ digital transformation, ensuring that essential public services are delivered effectively in today’s digital world.
• • Day to day, you will build and maintain modern, user-centered web applications; collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive and performant experiences; implement responsive, data-rich interfaces; integrate APIs and state management; contribute to frontend architecture and component libraries; apply lean-agile practices including automated testing and CI/CD; identify and address technical debt and performance issues; evaluate emerging technologies like AI-enhanced features; and promote maintainability through documentation and knowledge sharing.
