📋 Description

• As a Frontend Engineer at finmid GmbH, you will focus on delivering high-quality user interfaces for internal and external customers, playing a key role in building next-generation financial products from the ground up.
• Day to day, you will architect, design, and develop the product using modern web technologies, collaborate with designers to create enjoyable and functional interfaces, build advanced data visualizations to help customers understand business trends, and own the full release lifecycle from development to public release.
• You will join a distributed-first team with a beautiful office in Berlin, working closely with engineers, product designers, and founders to improve engineering standards, mentor junior engineers, and help hire new talent to build a strong engineering culture.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the technical foundation of a growing fintech startup, gain deep experience in financial product development, and grow as a leader while contributing to a transparent, innovative culture that values diverse perspectives.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend experience with web frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React.js
• 2+ years of experience with TypeScript and React.js
• Experience building scalable web applications, libraries, and tools using TypeScript and modern frameworks
• Experience working with RESTful JSON APIs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Creative mindset with ability to find simple, pragmatic solutions to complex problems
