  • • HomeVision is at the forefront of modernizing the U.S. home valuation industry, developing sophisticated technology that empowers appraisal professionals. Our innovative platform streamlines property analysis, workflow management, and the production of reliable valuations for a market valued at $40 trillion. Supported by Initialized Capital, we are dedicated to replacing outdated tools and spreadsheets with intuitive, contemporary software solutions. Given that our users engage with our product for extended periods daily, exceptional interface design and meticulous frontend engineering are paramount to enhancing their productivity and overall experience.
  • • As a Senior Frontend Engineer at HomeVision, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual appeal, user interaction, and future evolution of our product. Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a broad range of critical tasks designed to elevate our frontend capabilities. You will be actively involved in building and deploying high-quality product features, leveraging your expertise in React and TypeScript to create robust and scalable solutions. A significant part of your role will involve designing intuitive interfaces that transform complex workflows and data into easily understandable and efficient user experiences. This includes translating intricate processes into clear, actionable visual elements that empower users to perform their tasks with greater ease and accuracy. Furthermore, you will contribute significantly to defining and refining our shared component library, ensuring consistency and reusability across the platform. This involves not only developing new components but also maintaining and improving existing ones, adhering to best practices in design and development. You will also play a key role in establishing and promoting best practices for frontend engineering throughout the team. This includes advocating for clean code, efficient patterns, and scalable architectures, helping to foster a culture of technical excellence. Collaboration will be a cornerstone of your work, as you will work closely with product managers to understand user needs and business requirements, with designers to translate visual concepts into functional interfaces, and with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and data flow. Your expertise will be invaluable in mentoring and guiding other frontend engineers. This will involve conducting thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and engaging in architectural discussions to foster their growth and ensure the technical integrity of our codebase. A continuous focus on improving the performance, usability, and accessibility of our product will be essential, ensuring that HomeVision is not only functional but also a pleasure to use for all individuals, regardless of their technical background or any potential accessibility needs. Additionally, you will contribute to adopting and refining AI-assisted development workflows, exploring how tools like Copilot and others can accelerate engineering productivity and enhance the development process.
  • • The engineering team at HomeVision is a dynamic and collaborative group focused on building cutting-edge software for a critical industry. We value innovation, user-centric design, and a commitment to technical excellence. You will be joining a team that is passionate about solving complex problems and making a tangible impact on our users' daily work. Our culture encourages open communication, continuous learning, and a shared responsibility for product success.
  • • In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to significantly influence the direction of our frontend development and contribute to the growth of a promising startup. You will gain deep insights into the intricacies of the U.S. home valuation industry and the technological challenges it presents. By working with modern technologies like React and TypeScript, and by contributing to architectural decisions and best practices, you will further hone your skills as a senior frontend engineer. You will also have the chance to develop leadership qualities through mentoring junior engineers and driving technical initiatives. This position offers a platform to not only build exceptional software but also to grow professionally in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, potentially shaping the future of how real estate valuations are managed through technology.
