📋 Description

• • As a Senior Storage Engineer at Eqvilent AB, you will own a critical part of the infrastructure that supports high-frequency trading operations, where storage reliability and performance directly impact productivity, cost efficiency, and the ability of teams to deliver results.
• • Day to day, you will ensure storage is reliable, predictable, and not a bottleneck for critical workloads; own performance and stability of storage systems; design and evolve data placement, resiliency, and lifecycle strategies; ensure predictable behavior during failures, maintenance, and scaling; improve integration with compute environments (GPU/HPC, Kubernetes, data pipelines); drive faster incident detection, resolution, and prevention; improve capacity planning; and continuously enhance tooling, automation, and operational practices.
• • You will join a team building and operating core infrastructure across multiple data centers in a high-frequency trading environment, where the storage platform underpins data processing, analytics, and compute-heavy workloads.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in large-scale storage systems, advance your skills in performance tuning and troubleshooting under load, and lead improvements in automation and reliability that scale with growing data volumes and workloads.
