• • Mudflap Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-obsessed Senior Strategic Operations Manager to join our rapidly growing marketplace business. This pivotal role is designed for a versatile operations generalist who thrives on driving efficiency, enhancing customer experiences, and shaping the future of our product offerings within the massive $800 billion trucking industry. You will be instrumental in ensuring our operations run seamlessly, delivering world-class service to both drivers and our fuel stop partners, and developing innovative strategies for Mudflap's continued expansion.
• • As a cross-functional leader, you will collaborate with and guide various teams and product initiatives across Mudflap. Your responsibilities will span from deep-dive data analysis to uncover critical business insights and optimize non-product functions, to spearheading the development and execution of new product lines and growth strategies. A strong program management approach will be essential to position yourself and others for success.
• • A key aspect of this role involves developing and implementing robust Risk & Support strategies. You will partner closely with internal teams to fortify our network infrastructure and significantly improve the experience for both drivers, who rely on us for their livelihoods, and our merchant partners, who benefit from access to a new customer base. This requires a proactive and strategic mindset focused on mitigating risks and enhancing service delivery.
• • You will be the owner and publisher of operational OKRs and KPIs, meticulously tracking and reporting on metrics that drive positive engagement and usage across the Mudflap platform. This data-driven approach will be fundamental to understanding our performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• • Leveraging your strong analytical skills, you will dive into complex data sets to develop actionable insights and formulate comprehensive growth strategies. Your execution plans will be crucial for optimizing existing Mudflap functions and effectively addressing emerging business challenges. This includes identifying operational gaps and proposing data-backed solutions.
• • A significant part of your role will be to develop and lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) program for new product lines and strategic initiatives. This encompasses managing relationships with external vendors, rigorously evaluating business applications, and meticulously developing processes for seamless onboarding and ongoing support for new offerings.
• • You will lead and inspire cross-functional teams, focusing on scaling operations efficiently, optimizing organizational structures for maximum effectiveness, and continuously improving operational workflows and processes. Your leadership will be key to ensuring that Mudflap's operational backbone can support our ambitious growth trajectory.
• • A critical responsibility will be to assess our current suite of tools and systems, identifying any operational gaps or inefficiencies. You will then determine the need for new tools and take ownership of their implementation, ensuring they integrate smoothly and enhance our operational capabilities.
• • You will be expected to present your findings, recommendations, and progress reports to senior management and key decision-makers, articulating complex insights clearly and persuasively to drive strategic alignment and action.
