Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Senior Support Engineer at Lyric, you will serve as a critical technical escalation point for customers using our cloud-based healthcare platform, directly impacting patient care outcomes by ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and rapid resolution of high-impact incidents in a HIPAA- and HITRUST-compliant environment.
- • You will own complex, customer-facing technical issues from initial triage through final resolution, leveraging deep expertise in .NET/C#, SQL Server, and Azure observability to diagnose root causes, implement safe fixes, and prevent recurrence — turning escalations into opportunities for system improvement and customer trust.
- • You will partner closely with Lyric’s engineering team to translate customer pain points into actionable engineering insights, contributing to product stability through high-quality bug reports, runbook updates, and small, safe code improvements that reduce repeat incidents and improve Tier 1/2 deflection.
- • You will operate within a mission-driven, AI-first healthcare technology company recognized as 2025 Best in KLAS for Pre-Payment Accuracy and Integrity, where your work directly reduces waste in the healthcare ecosystem and enables more efficient, affordable care for payers, providers, and patients.
- • You will develop advanced expertise in production support for enterprise healthcare SaaS platforms, mastering the intersection of cloud infrastructure (Azure), database systems (SQL Server), application logic (.NET/C#), and observability tooling — positioning yourself as a trusted technical advisor and future leader in SRE, platform reliability, or healthcare technology operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of five (5) years in technical support, application support, production operations, SRE-adjacent support, or software engineering with significant on-call/incident responsibility.
- • Strong proficiency debugging C# / .NET applications (reading code, tracing execution, diagnosing exceptions, validating fixes).
- • Strong proficiency with SQL Server and T-SQL, including investigative querying and basic query performance awareness.
- • Hands-on experience with SSMS and routine database investigation workflows.
- • Practical experience using observability to troubleshoot production issues (logs/metrics/traces); familiarity with Azure Monitor / Application Insights is highly aligned.
- • Working knowledge of Azure fundamentals (Azure Portal navigation, common services, deployments, identity/access concepts).
- • Experience working customer-facing escalations: clear written updates, expectation-setting, and technical explanations for mixed audiences.
- • Comfort operating in an incident process (ticketing, triage, comms, postmortems/RCA).
- • A solid grasp of cloud security and best practices and an understanding of compliance standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary range of $86,973.00 - $130,460.00 for this full-time remote US position.
- • Opportunity to work at a 2025 Best in KLAS award-winning healthcare technology company recognized for innovation in pre-payment accuracy and integrity.
- • HI-TRUST and SOC2 certified environment with a strong commitment to data security, privacy, and compliance in healthcare.
- • Recipient of the 2025 CandE Award for Candidate Experience, reflecting a respectful and transparent hiring process.
- • Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace that empowers employees and embraces collaborative success.
- • Remote work flexibility within the U.S., enabling work-life balance while contributing to meaningful healthcare innovation.
