- • Senior Systems Administrator, Cross Domain role focused on managing and securing complex IT infrastructure supporting defense and aerospace operations
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include administering cross-domain solutions, maintaining system security, ensuring compliance with federal standards, and supporting mission-critical systems for Shield AI’s intelligent aviation platforms
- • Part of a mission-driven team at Shield AI, a venture-backed deep-tech company protecting service members and civilians through AI-powered aviation systems like V-BAT, X-BAT, and Hivemind Enterprise
- • Opportunity to gain expertise in high-assurance systems, federal compliance frameworks (such as DoDIN APL), and cross-domain security architecture while contributing to national security initiatives
🎯 Requirements
- • Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server administration in enterprise environments
- • Knowledge of cross-domain solutions (CDS), including guards, filters, and multi-level security (MLS) concepts
- • Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, 800-171)
- • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with system monitoring, logging, and incident response
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
