📋 Description

• Senior Systems Engineer role providing advanced 3rd and 4th line Unix/Linux expertise across on-prem, hybrid, and public cloud platforms to support a multi-client estate and ensure critical services run smoothly.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include leading administration and support of Linux and Unix environments (RedHat, SUSE, AIX, Solaris), acting as technical owner for complex incidents, driving root cause analysis, managing changes per ITIL, building and supporting servers across cloud and platform-specific estates, collaborating with internal and external teams, and authoring/maintaining documentation.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise Unix/Linux platforms, gain experience across hybrid and public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, PowerVS, Oracle Cloud), develop leadership in incident management and service improvement, and enhance your ability to communicate complex technical issues to diverse stakeholders while contributing to mission-critical systems impacting millions.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in a 3rd Line Support / Infrastructure Engineer or similar senior technical role supporting large enterprise environments
• Strong recent experience managing Unix/Linux server platforms in production across RHEL, Oracle Linux, SUSE, Ubuntu, AIX, and Solaris
• Experience supporting environments with Oracle RAC and working across public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, PowerVS, or Oracle Cloud
• Security Clearance (SC) eligibility and UK-based residency required
