- • Nexus Cognitive LLC is seeking a highly strategic and dependable Senior Technical Architect to join our dynamic team at our Atlanta HQ. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who thrives on being the primary technical authority, ensuring that our customer-facing organizations, specifically Customer Success and Support, are equipped with the architectural guidance necessary to deliver exceptional, high-quality solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction for some of our most critical client onboarding initiatives, acting as a crucial bridge between intricate client requirements and Nexus's internal delivery pillars. Your expertise will ensure the consistent and scalable success of our client engagements, reinforcing Nexus's commitment to turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- • As a Cross-Departmental Technical Lead, you will be the go-to expert for technical inquiries originating from the Customer Success and Support teams. This involves providing in-depth architectural guidance for custom delivery projects and facilitating structured, efficient data migrations. Your role is to empower these teams with the technical knowledge and strategic direction needed to overcome challenges and deliver outstanding results for our clients.
- • You will serve as a dedicated technical lead for high-priority onboarding projects. This responsibility includes ensuring a seamless and technically sound transition for new clients, proactively preventing the formation of technical silos during the crucial initial stages of the customer lifecycle. Your involvement will guarantee that clients begin their journey with Nexus on a strong technical foundation, setting the stage for long-term success and adoption.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves active participation in our Technical Center of Excellence (CoE). Within the CoE, you will contribute to the definition, refinement, and maintenance of global standards for all Professional Services engagements. This ensures a consistent, high-quality approach to technical delivery across the organization, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
- • You will be tasked with identifying and resolving architectural bottlenecks and complex technical hurdles encountered by our key accounts. Your strategic problem-solving skills will be vital in ensuring sustained product adoption and maximizing customer satisfaction, directly impacting client retention and loyalty.
- • Collaboration is key in this role. You will partner closely with our Engineering and Product teams to effectively communicate the technical needs and challenges faced by the Customer Success organization. This ensures that our product roadmaps are aligned with and supportive of the practical delivery requirements, fostering a symbiotic relationship between product development and customer enablement.
- • Facilitating a seamless technical handover and knowledge transfer between our India execution hub and global onboarding teams is another critical responsibility. This ensures continuity, maintains technical integrity, and promotes a unified approach to client solutions across different geographical teams.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of modern data processing and orchestration tools, including expertise in Spark, Trino, Airflow, and NiFi. Experience with governance and metadata management tools such as Ranger and DataHub is highly valued.
- • Proficiency in modern storage architectures, specifically Iceberg and Object Storage (S3 or equivalent), is essential. A robust background in cloud-native infrastructure, including Kubernetes (K8s) or OpenShift (OCP), coupled with strong Linux systems administration and Git proficiency, is required.
- • Automation and scripting skills are paramount, with a requirement for proficiency in Shell (Bash) and Python. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, with a preference for Terraform, will be a significant advantage.
- • Experience with observability stacks, including monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, ELK/OpenSearch, or CloudWatch, is necessary for effective system management and troubleshooting.
- • Beyond technical acumen, you will need exceptional communication skills, particularly in articulating complex technical issues in a clear, understandable manner to diverse audiences, including clients. A calm, empathetic, and methodical approach to troubleshooting is essential, enabling you to effectively work with architecture diagrams, logs, and sometimes ambiguous problem descriptions.
- • Comfort and proven ability to collaborate effectively across various teams—Engineering, Customer Success, Delivery, and Product—is a must. An ownership mindset, where you are driven to solve problems from inception to resolution, will define your success in this role.
