📋 Description

• As a Senior Technical Producer II for MARVEL SNAP, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direct-to-consumer e-commerce experience for one of the most acclaimed mobile games in recent history, ensuring seamless transactions and high-quality player interactions across web, mobile, and Steam storefronts.
• Your leadership will directly impact player satisfaction and business performance by maintaining the reliability, performance, and scalability of the MARVEL SNAP Shop, supporting live operations and continuous improvement without compromising team sustainability.
• You will partner closely with engineering, design, product, live operations, marketing, and QA teams to define requirements, manage backlogs, coordinate releases, and drive improvements that enhance conversion, reduce friction, and support long-term platform health.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include owning end-to-end production of the Shop team, overseeing feature development from concept to live deployment, managing configuration changes, monitoring payment flows and transaction health, and proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks before they impact players.
• You will facilitate cross-functional alignment by running effective meetings, maintaining task tracking and bug assignment systems, leading retrospectives, and ensuring adherence to best practices that promote sustainable development pace and continuous team growth.
• Managing relationships with external partners—including payment processors, platform providers (Apple App Store, Google Play Console, Steamworks, Samsung Seller Portal), and other integrations—is a key aspect of the role, requiring technical fluency and strong negotiation and coordination skills.
• You will work with engineers to optimize performance, reliability, and conversion rates while reducing operational costs, using data-driven insights to prioritize improvements and justify investments.
• Championing the project vision and fostering a positive, psychologically safe team culture is essential; you’ll lead with empathy, optimism, and resilience, especially under pressure or during ambiguous situations.
• Ensuring sustainable work practices is a core value—you’ll actively monitor workload, prevent burnout, and advocate for realistic scoping to eliminate the need for overtime while maintaining high delivery standards.
• Through this role, you will deepen your expertise in live service production, e-commerce systems, and agile delivery within a high-performing, remote-first game studio known for innovation and excellence.
• You’ll have the opportunity to influence best practices in game production, contribute to the evolution of the MARVEL SNAP platform, and grow as a technical leader in a studio that values creativity, diversity, and player-centric design.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience shipping and supporting a live game or live service as a technical producer or technical program manager
• Familiarity with e-commerce or direct-to-consumer platforms, including payment flows, storefront management, and player-facing transaction systems
• Hands-on experience with version control systems such as GitHub
• Strong empathy and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to support and uplift team members
• Excellent communication skills across verbal, written, and video formats, with comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity
• Positive, optimistic leadership style with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
